Post-Quantum Cryptography from First Principles

The mathematics behind ML-KEM and ML-DSA, built from nothing.

77 chapters9 parts≈ 7 h read

The algebra that ML-KEM and ML-DSA are built out of, developed from nothing for a reader who has never seen abstract algebra. Every definition arrives after a worked example small enough to check by hand.

NIST standardised its first post-quantum schemes in 2024, and both of them live inside a single algebraic object written R_q. This book takes that symbol apart. It assumes no group theory, no ring theory and no prior cryptography, and it works at moduli small enough that every residue class fits on one page before any cryptographic parameter appears.
